Austin Peay State University, located in Clarkesville, Tennessee, was founded in 1927. With an enrollment of 9,400, it is one of Tennessee’s fastest growing universities, and offers over 56 majors and 63 different concentrations. With three campus galleries, numerous athletic teams, and a wide variety of clubs and organizations, students have a range of options when it comes to extra-curricular activities. The Austin Peay Center at Fort Campbell houses the School of Technology and Public Management, serving military personnel and their families, in addition to main campus students.


Nursing Education at Austin Peay State University

Austin Peay State University’s School of Nursing was founded in 1972. Offering a four-year BSN and an RN to BSN program, the School of Nursing at APSU provides students with computer assisted instructional programs, a nursing skills lab, and various clinical sites for gaining real-world experience in a variety of settings. The student population is made up of full-time and part-time students, former military personnel, and students pursing a second degree.
