Founded in 1826, Case Western Reserve University is located in Cleveland, Ohio. The University has an enrollment of 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students representing all 50 states and 100 countries. Comprised of eight schools, Case Western Reserve University also supports numerous academic and research centers and institutes including the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Center for Aids Research, and the Great Lakes Institute for Energy Innovation. Schools within the University are: the College of Arts & Sciences, the School of Nursing, the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, the School of Dental Medicine, the School of Graduate Studies, the School of Law, the School of Medicine and the Weatherhead School of Management.


Nursing Education at Case Western Reserve University

The Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University offers several degree options for aspiring nurses: a BSN, a graduate entry Doctor of Nursing Practice, an MSN, and a PhD in Nursing. In addition to classwork and clinical experiences, nursing students at Case Western participate in community outreach initiatives that include training caregivers, talking to young people about nursing, assessing health policy and providing disaster relief across the country. Students gain clinical experience at over 200 Cleveland health care agencies and organizations. The School was established in 1923, and honors Frances Payne Bolton, the first woman elected from Ohio to Congress.
