The College of Nursing and Health Professions has evolved dramatically in its 130-year history. The school as it is known today grew from the Women’s Medical College of Pennsylvania (founded in 1864) and the Hahnemann Hospital Training School for Nurses (founded in 1890).

- There are several concentrations within the MSN program: Clinical Nurse Leader in Adult Health, Clinical Trials Research, and Health Systems Management--to name just a few.
- Students at Drexel have the chance to put their skills into action before they graduate--the College of Nursing and Health Professions runs its own health center in the center of four public-housing projects in North Philadelphia.
- Drexel offers post-baccalaureate certificate programs, post-masters certificate programs and a doctoral program (a doctorate in nursing practice).
