Elms College, founded in 1928 by the Sisters of St, Joseph, is located in Chicopee, Massachusetts. The College offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs, as well as Certificates of Advanced Graduate Studies. With an enrollment of 1,100 full and part-time students, Elms College offers 33 different majors, and is home to a number of sports teams including baseball, basketball, cross country, field hockey, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, and volleyball. Elms College is also home to the Institute for Theology and Pastoral Studies, the Irish Cultural Center, and the Polish Center of Discovery and Learning.
Nursing Education at Elms College
The Nursing Department at Elms College is housed in the Division of Health Sciences and offers undergraduate and graduate programs in nursing. Undergraduate students can pursue a traditional BSN program or an RN to BSN track. An additional program, Legal Nurse Consulting, is available to RN’s and delivered through the Division of Business and Law. Students in the MSN degree program can choose from concentrations in Nursing and Health Sciences Management and Nursing Education. Elms College also offers an accelerated RN to MSN program.
