Gannon University, a Catholic university located in Erie, Pennsylvania, was founded in 1925. With an enrollment of over 4,100 students, Gannon offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs, as well as internships and co-op job opportunities. Nursing Education at Gannon University

The Villa Maria School of Nursing at Gannon University offers BSN, RN to BSN, School Nurse, and MSN programs in four concentrations: Administration, Anesthesia, Medical-Surgical, and Nurse Administration. The Villa Maria School of Nursing is affiliated with more than 40 health care agencies, providing nursing students with clinical experiences in a wide range of settings. All nursing students at Gannon University are involved with the Nursing Center, a health clinic supported by the Housing Authority of the City of Erie and Gannon University. Each year, students and faculty participate in more than 3,000 hours of service-learning.
