Louisiana College, founded in 1906, is located in Pineville, Louisiana. With an 81-acre campus, the College offers more than 70 programs of study through its 10 academic divisions that include: Allied Health, Business, Christian Studies, Education, Humanities, Natural Sciences, and Nursing. Louisiana College is a Baptist institution where all faculty members and staff are Christian. A majority of the 1,050 students at Louisiana College come from Central Louisiana, but many states and countries are also represented in the student body. The College offers a range of opportunities for community involvement that include a Water Fitness Program, numerous arts events, and summer youth programs.


Nursing Education at Louisiana College

The Division of Nursing at Louisiana College offers basic BSN and RN to BSN degree programs. In addition to following the nursing curriculum, Louisiana College nursing students have the opportunity to take part in an annual service trip to Mexico to conduct health clinics, and to participate in service projects at the Enterprise Baptist Church, the Working People’s Free Clinic, and the Manna House. In keeping with the mission of Louisiana College, the nursing programs incorporate faith-based learning. and faculty include faith in their teaching.
