The College of Nursing at New York University, founded in 1932, serves more than 1,400 students and offers undergraduate and graduate programs at more than 250 sites in the New York area. NYU offers BS, MS, post-master’s certificate programs, a PhD program and a DNP program. The BS program, based on a liberal arts foundation, is available in a four-year program, a 15-month accelerated program, an RN to BS, and a dual degree BS/MS. The MS programs are designed to prepare nurses for advanced roles in clinical practice, nursing administration, education, and informatics. MS specializations include: Adult Acute Care, Adult Primary Care, Geriatrics, Palliative Care, Holistic Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Pediatrics, Nurse-Midwifery, Nursing Education, Nursing Informatics and Nursing Administration.
