The University’s Agricultural Technical Institute and the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center are located in Wooster, Ohio. Established in 1870, Ohio State University now offers more than 160 academic programs through 18 academic colleges and serves almost 40,000 undergraduate students and 13,600 graduate students.


Nursing Education at Ohio State University

The College of Nursing at Ohio State University offers BSN, RN to BSN. MSN, and doctoral programs. BSN students take courses in writing, natural sciences, social sciences, and arts and humanities to gain a broad foundation for their nursing studies and clinical experiences. The MSN program is available in several specializations: Adult Health and Illness, Clinical Nurse Leader, Family Nurse Practitioner, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Midwifery, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing, and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Outside the classroom, nursing students at Ohio State participate in several student organizations including: Buckeye Student Nurses, Chi Eta Phi, Torch Club, and Sigma Theta Tau International.
