Nursing Degrees Offered: RN to BSN

Slippery Rock University, located in western Pennsylvania, offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs, as well as distance learning programs and lifelong learning courses. Programs are administered through the Colleges of Business, Information, and Social Sciences; Education; Health, Environment, and Science; and Humanities, Fine, and Performing Arts. Situated on 600 acres, Slippery Rock University is 50 minutes north of downtown Pittsburgh. The campus is home to the Center for Mathematics, Science, and Technology Education, and the Institute for Community Service Learning and Non-Profit Leadership.

Nursing Education at Slippery Rock University

The nursing program at Slippery Rock University offers an RN to BSN program, as well as certificates in Healthcare Informatics and School Nursing. The RN to BSN program is designed for working RN’s with a focus on managed care, leadership skills, and technology. Slippery Rock University offers web-based distance education. Students do their work from anywhere with internet access, allowing RN’s to earn a BSN while managing work and home schedules.
