West Coast University was founded in 1909 as an ophthalmology school. It continued to expand and, in the 1950s, became one of the first schools to offer bachelor’s degrees for working adults. Today, the university focuses on delivering accelerated health care programs on three campuses in California. Students can choose from a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an RN-BSN bridge program.
